56th CSSA Annual Show and Sale The Huntington Library, Art Museum

Hundreds of award-winning plants will be on view as the Cactus and Succulent Society of America presents its 56th annual show and sale. Rare specimens from around the world will be showcased, including plants native to Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Botswana, Madagascar, and the Middle East. The juried competition will also include categories for photography, paintings, crafts, and dish gardens. NOTE: Cacti will be displayed in Banta Hall (along with the Membership & Information Tables) and Succulents will be found in the Ahmanson Classroom. The Saturday evening awards ceremony, dinner, and auction will be in the Banta Hall, which is located in the downstairs atrium. |

The Cactus and Succulent Society of America was founded in 1929. The society is dedicated to the study, cultivation and propagation of cacti and succulent plants. The society has also been active in the goal of the dissemination of information and conservation of the plants world wide. Members enjoy a bi-monthly journal and newsletter.
